Friday Night After Six : Legion

Thursday is a busy day for me.  After taking part of a really big event, it literally takes all my energy.  The next day, I'm back to the office ready for more work.

Chapter 9 : Legion

Late again.  Dahil sa sobrang pagod, sumobra na naman ako ng tulog.  Noong una plano ko nang umabsent dahil sobrang sakit pa rin ng katawan ko but I decided to go to work because I need to be there for a site's preparation for Monday Launch.  I even texted Ann to inform Elaine about the site, kasi aalis sila ulit para sa second day ng event.  Good thing it just took me 1 hour to travel and I reached my office in time.

Nagmadali akong buksan ang computer after greeting some offciemates specially the creative people, Aileen, Pats, Monica, Jayson and my Boss Mike.  Binuksan ko agad ang Email dahil alam ko may mga nangungulit na dun after my one day of absence at the office.  As I read one of the emails, natawa ako at nainis at the same time.  Nyahahahaha.   Napostponed na naman yung launch ng site.  Ibig sabihin, wala na naman akong gagawin maghapon.  Petiks na naman.  Think it's a good thing?  Not for me.  I prefer doing something than nothing.  I get tired more easily without doing anything.  Kaya ayun, nakatitig lang ako sa monitor ng computer ko habang nakikipaglaban sa ibang heroes ng Facebook.

After a while, Mike approach me.  Yey!!!  May trabaho na naman ako though hindi ko rin naman siya mauumpisahan agad dahil siyempre kailangan pa ng project brief pero mas o k na yun para mayroon na akong mind set sa buong araw.

Lunch time with some officemates.  Pantanggal tensyon.  Sa paglalakad pa lang papuntang Jollibee, nakakaalis na ng pagod dahil sa mga walang hanggang tawanan sa daan.  Pati yung babaeng mukhang bakla pansinin ba.  Hahaha.  After a while sumunod sa lunch si Tina at Marg and after that balik again sa Opis.

Wala pa rin akong magawa kaya I decided to do something.  After several hours, Jill of MSS, aproached me for the mock ups brief for BDO.  After the meeting, balik ako sa ginagawa ko.

Maya-maya nagyaya na si Jayson (Jimenez).  Babalik pala silang Mag:Net.  Wrap up inuman pala ng Happy Slip Event.  Too bad I have my own plans for the night.  Para maiba naman.  Bumababa na rin ang Tolerance ko sa Alcohol kaya sigura, hinay-hinay muna.

Its past 6pm, all the Legion of fans are already waiting for Katrina with their FHM copy ready for an autograph.  After several moments of waiting, the people of Transformers Philippines arrived namely Victor, Segagiga, OJ, and of course Mark the man.  I also got the chance of meeting Katrina's Hardcore fan Mach from the US and his girlfriend Arlene.  While waiting for our turn, nagkaroon kami ng pagakaktaon to chat since di na rin ako masyadong nakakatambay sa forums ng Transformers PH.  To be honest, I'm not worthy for these guys because all of them are hardcore Toy Collectors and I hardly understand some things they are discussing.  But I enjoy chatting with them specially with Mach though I almost got nose bleed at muntik na akong maubusan ng English. 

At last got the chance to meet Katrina Halili.  To be honest, I lied to Mach when he ask me if I'm a solid fan of Katrina eversince Starstruck days.  The truth is I use to hate Katrina.  Because of her on screen Maldita image.  I easily get annoyed of her persona.  But some friends of mine told me that katrina is indeed a kind person and yung ganung maldita look niya ay talagang natural lang niya.  Now, I also adore her because of her antagonist role in Marimar Remake as Angelika.  She is indeed very effective in her role and I can say Katrina is already a full grown actress.

After the event, together with the Transformers PH and Mach, we followed Katrina to the car Park for a last chance to meet her.  Hahaha, mga adik ba.  Then after that we all return to Burger King for some bonding moments.

We stayed at the Burger King for almost 2 hours while chatting about Toys, Movies and more Katrina Halili.  Mach also signed my FHM copy.  Weee!!!

After several more minutes the Legion decided to call it a night, we parted ways and went home.  Nagsabay na kami ni OJ sa Bus since taga-Cainta siya at nagkwentuhan na rin kami sa bus.  We talked about More toys and comicbooks.  We even have this discussion about comicbook classics translated to TV series and we both shared our sentiments on some shows they call Super Twins and Zaido.

I bid OJ goodbye as I reach Junction and from there isa pang biyahe pauwi.
