Random Encounters: Endings and Reflections

Been busy last night and today visiting relatives and spending the holidays with them.  Kaya medyo late na itong post na ito.  Oh well, Isa lang masasabi ko.  Napakabilis dumaan ng taong ito.  Yeah.  Parang kalian lang I remember the New Year Movie Marathon in Star Movies is the X-Men Trilogy and my Mom and sis are preparing for their trip to Qatar.  Napakabilis na talagang lumipas ng panahon.  Di na natin namamalayan ang paglipas ng oras.  Because of our fast paced lives, on school, work or even in being plain housekeepers, the time passed as if we’ve entered the time space warp.


Ito na yata ang taon na may pinakamarami akong nakilala.  Of course mostly because of blogging.  I became close to some of this people (I choose only few people to be close to).  It’s just my nature.  Pero tulad na rin ng resolution ko sa mga nagdaang taon, I try not to get involve too personally because ako rin ang nadedepress if they refuse to be helped.  And I’m also being careful of turncoats.  I really hate traitors.



Marami akong nakilala but marami rin ang lumisan.  Starting from my Mom and sis, and to some good friends in the online community.  Marami ring office friends ang nagresign, that really depresses me a lot since this people really lessen the pressure of work.  Miss na miss ko na itong mga taong ito.  Pero ang di ko makakalimutang paglisan ay ang pagpanaw ng aking Tito.  He is my most favorite Tito and I’m his most favorite pamangkin because the fact that we really look like father and son.  Kinuha siya sa amin sa hindi inaasahang pagkakataon.  Kaya itinuring ko na itong pinamalungkot na yugto ng 2008.


This year also mark the peak of my toy collecting hobby.  It really changes my lifestyle.  Kung dati tuwing biyernes ay umiinom ako with officemates, ngayon hinde na.  Kasi nga I save money for Toys.  Yah, yun na ang bisyo ko ngayon.  Iniwasan ko na rin ang madalas na pag-inom.  Maybe because of what happened to my uncle.  Natakot din ako na magkaroon ng Cancer.  At di naman ako nagsisi.  I’m enjoying my hobby now.  I enjoy collecting Toys and sharing them with people with the same interest.  Pinakamasayang activity- Toy Hunting.  Pero nakakapagod din at minsan di naming namamalayan malaki na rin nagagastos naming dahil kung saan saan na kami nakakarating para lang maghunt ng laruan.  Through the months natutunan ko na rin ang diskarte sa pangongolekta kaya din a rin akon nahirapan na makuha ang mga gusto kong laruan.


Tulad na rin nang nabanggit ko, ito na yata ang pinaka-active na Blogging year for bloggers.  So many events.  So many people to meet.  Marami ka ring matututunan.  Nakakatuwa pa, the bloggers are really so close though minsan may mga di pagkakaunawaan at kompitisyon, naayos naman lahat.  This is the year that I’m already been recognize by few people in the industry I blog about (movies & musical) because of my articles and reviews.  This small praises from them really makes me proud of myself and strive to improve my skills and enthusiasm.  Lalo akong ginanahan sa pagbla-blog at pag-attend ng mga events at major performances kahit na mapuyat pa ako at mapagod.



Kung susumahin ko naman ang porsyento ng buhay na nilalaan ko sa araw-araw.  80% nito siyempre napupunta sa aking propesyon bilang isang web designer sa Yehey!  2008 is Yehey’s busiest year yet.  Daming clients.  Di nauubos.  Kung mababakante ka siguro matagal na yung isang araw.  But marami akong natutunan sa taong ito.  Through colaboaration and direct tutorials from colleagues.  But being on Yehey! Is not all work and no play.  Kung tutuusin daming perks sa Yehey! Events, movie screening, bloggers event atbp.  It serves as our rewards on our daily work na talaga naming nakakabaliw na sa sobrang pressure.  My Yehey! Life in 2008 is indeed something I will never forget.  Forget the gossips, forget the egocentrics, and forget the demanding clients.  I just want to keep the good memories.  Memories that I will keep wherever the wind will take me.

There are really so many things worth reflecting this past year.  But if I talk all about them, Its better if I should write a book na lang instead .  Ang masasabi ko lang, I’m living alone right now with my grandparents.  They are already old and the only thing that they can contribute to me is make me feel that there are still people related to me that are here.  But people in my work, friends, colleagues etc. are the people who are now I consider my family.  Dahil kayo yung madalas kong kasama.  

All I want to say is thanks to everyone.  Thanks for being part of my 2008.

At dahil maraming pagbabagong mangyayari ngayong maguumpisa ang taon.  Isasarado ko na ang kabanatang ito para buksan ang isa na namang yugto ng aking buhay.
